Hey everybody…
Most of you already know that Keni Thomas, myself and the Cornbread crew have been invited again this year to participate in the USO Hope & Freedom Tour.We will travel to Kuwait,Iraq & Afghanistan to perform for the troops serving there! We’ll leave Dec. 14th and be back on Christmas Eve.

Most of our time there is spent doing what’s called “Meet & Greets” where we show up,take pictures, sign autographs and talk awhile with these awesome men & women so far from home. Just like last year I want to take over as many CD’s as possible to share with these folks…last year I took over 2000 of the download cards and that was awesome! I’m asking for your help again to do the same thing…I wanna give these men & women a handshake ,a hug and hand them a CD or a download card! Help me do this please! It doesn’t take a ton of money! Whatever you can spare would be used to give back to them. Honestly.. a dollar will buy a download card ..get it? A little bit goes a long way (literally!) so please hit the donate button below and I’ll take care of the rest!
THANK YOU SO VERY MUCH!

Winter,Cumberland and Best Buy.11/09/08-comments-
Wow..it got cold yesterday and I suppose it’s winter now…It was in the 70’s the other day and now COLD!
Had a great time yesterday at Cumberland Church and then later in the day over at the Best Buy at Rivergate.Wade and his crew made us (Billy Montana and Keni Thomas) feel right at home.

Best Buy is launching a whole new section of their stores to instruments .We’re talking tons of guitars, drums, bass’,keys etc…It was really cool…a wall about 20 or 30 feet high with guitars forever…..The best part was they let us pick ANY guitar we wanted and play it( I tried to keep it..but no luck on that.) ..I played a Taylor t5 that has got me thinking…?It was really, really cool !

Thanks to the great folks that showed up and let us sing fr you. I basically got to sing all day and that’s just always gonna be a GREAT day!
Vote Today!-comments-
I want you to go and Vote in the presidential election for sure…But I also want you to go HERE and vote for Keni Thomas/Shrievport to LA. It makes a huge difference in our being able to do what we do. Please vote once a day for as long as you can!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hello all
Sorry it’s been so long since I last posted…October is always a very busy month for me and this one was no different…On Sat. the 18th ,Keni and I had a great time up in NJ with the Monmouth Univ. crew.Lily and the folks up there are always wonderful and we had a wonderful time up there raising some $$$ for a great cause. On sunday the 19th I woke up in in NJ ,rode to Philly, flew to Nashville then drove to Daytona Fla.It was a very ,very long day…..Visited Malissa’s family down that way and enjoyed the wonderful weather….mmmmmmmmmmWarm! We celebrated our 7th anniversary in St.Augustine and that was nothing but good. We love that place like you wouldn’t believe….it rained and it really didn’t matter. We got some nice weather ,visited Marineland and hung out with some dolphin which was amazing! Ate lots of good food, wandered around and as if that wasn’t enough we were joined by Jayce ,Chrystina and all the little Finchers from Atlanta/Alpharetta ! Had a great time with them and went to a haunted lighthouse tour ,ate drank and were pretty much merry for a few days! Came home and immediately began working on our Haunted House and annual Halloween gathering. All in all it was busy and great! Viva La October!

We’ve been there a month and it’s blowing all the industry types minds…They keep debating on why it’s still there and how this “can’t be right…?”.Well the reason it’s there is because YOU guys keep voting and keeping it there.Despite all the suits with their checkbooks…This song and video have been grass roots-ing it’s way way to the top! Thank you over and over and let’s keep it going. Maybe if they’d stop arguing over what’s NOT supposed to happen and pay attention and get behind what IS happening the record business wouldn’t be going the way of the dinosaur! Get on board or get outta the way!
Streets of Kabul…….-comments-
This is a piece of video shot by Joe Morris on the 2007 USO Tour.We are in an armoured car riding to the airport thru the streets of Kabul Afghanistan.Don’t pay attention to anything but the window and the sights outside..It will open your eyes and your heart. These people live in conditions that are stunning.Very little to no electricity,no sanitation hardly anything we take for granted…Watch it a few times .
West Coast Cornbread-comments-
I am writing this from Sacramento California..Keni Thomas and I are doing a duo version of Cornbread for a few days…Played a killer packed out show last night in Boise Idaho at the Buffalo Club. Did a couple of radio interviews (KIZN) and played a few songs and got to hang out and meet some great folks. Thanks to everyone that waited in line before the show and hung out with us afterwards! Boise definitely was a great place with great folks!
Got up this morning and got on a plane and headed west…Hung out all afternoon at a radio station(KNCI) here in Sac. meeting the staff playing some songs and talking about Hank Williams.Felt right at home! Thanks again! We’ll play tomorrow for the National Guards Formal Ball. Can’t wait.
I’m back…..-comments-
Hello everyone out there…good to be home from a few different journey’s..Been traveling with Keni and Cornbread .We had a great time and great show in Vegas (as in Las Vegas not Nash-Vegas).What a place..I’d never actually been there and seen it. Been thru the airport a few times but wow…it goes without saying that it’s mind blowing. The whole place is so far over the top and blown out of control..Very fun and cool to see it. Had a great time with the NCOA group as well. That crew never fails to impress me!
We red eyed it to Washington DC and camped out at American University where we were well taken care of and looked after. Thanks to all the kindness of strangers and strange people we survived it and had a fun night at the Tavern there on campus!
Jenna and Sarah guided myself and the band thru the dangerous streets to a Mexican place. Thank you! Great time and can’t wait to get back that way! Viva La Cornbread!
Below is a shot of the Lution and Jenna the Uber Merch girl!

Just wanted to say a hearty THANKS to everyone that braved the crazy heat yesterday and came to see us downtown at the CMA/Fan Fair . This was my 1st time playing it and it was a blast! It was over really fast…kinda like the Opry.If you blink it’s done…so I tried to pay close attention and enjoy it. The fan club party was a blast as well…Fried pickles! Not sure who was in charge of that but I say WELL DONE! Most of you folks are still here in town and enjoying the music so drink alot of water and wear that sunsreen! Thanks!
